He combines influences from popular 80's artists like Depeche Mode and Gary Numan with newer beat crafters like the Crystal Method and Four Tet. moriddim also borrows from the cryptic stream-of-consciousness style lyrics of bands like Underworld and Soul Coughing with delivery characteristic of vocalists like Pete Yorn and Beck. Multiple comparisons will spring to mind upon listening, but listeners will find themselves having a hard time finding music that fits just as well on the dancefloor as it does in the living room.
