Hi everyone. This will be my last upload for a while. I am moving to San Francisco to study counseling psychology. That doesn’t mean I’m giving up on “moriddim.” It’s just going on hold for a bit until I am grounded and up for some more writing.
This track was produced for my very good friend. She’s made my transition so enjoyable and visceral that I had to put all those feelings into something creative. I chose the relatively obscure Coldplay track “See You Soon,” for its obvious message and also because of it’s beautiful melody & lyrics.

Synthetic. Dark. Moving. Vibrant. All of these words pertain to the music of moriddim. He combines influences from popular 80's artists like Depeche Mode and Gary Numan with newer beat crafters like the Crystal Method and Four Tet. moriddim also borrows from the cryptic stream-of-consciousness style lyrics of bands like Underworld and Soul Coughing with delivery characteristic of vocalists like Pete Yorn and Beck. Multiple comparisons will spring to mind upon listening, but listeners will find themselves having a hard time finding music that fits just as well on the dancefloor as it does in the living room.
